The Mission: June 19-July 1

Check this blog daily for updates from the field! You are encouraged to leave comments, words of encouragement, prayers, etc. on the blog. The entire team will be able to see them.

The purpose of this mission trip is very simple. We are going to tell the Dagomba tribe of Ghana, West Africa, about Jesus. Many of them have never even heard His name.

We ask that you pray for our safety, health and boldness in witnessing.

There is a link to a detailed prayer calendar on the right side of the page. Won't you join us in asking God to bring a great harvest of souls into His Kingdom?

Cheryl,

Tay and I are praying for you and your team. We've also asked the church to pray. We're praying for your safe keeping, but we're also praying for and expecting many souls. I cannot tell you how proud we are of you and Zach. You are going to have a great reward for the sacrifice you are making. We love you.

Heavenly Father, I plead that the hearts of Cheryl, Zach, Elizabeth, Jason, Birgitte, Gabby, Ashley, Doug, Martin, Vickie, Stephanie, Mary and Adian will be filled with the Holy Spirit and that they will walk in His power (Eph 5:18, Gal 5:16) I pray that they will speak your word with boldness (Acts 4:31, Eph 6:19) and that they are accepted by the natives, believers and the other missionaries in the area where they are laboring (Rom 15:30-31). In your sons' name I pray, Amen.

We're praying daily for all of you!
Blessings,
Amy Drewery

Hey Vickie (and all),
Hope things are well. I still think you are crazy to do this, but I am glad that someone is crazy enough to do it - if that makes any sense. Be careful and God Bless. You all will be in my prayers. I love you Vickie. See you soon.

Thank you so much for Doug Whitby, Martin and all those who felt called by christ to go on this venture. We pray for god presence to be felt continuously upon all in the group as well as the village. I am very glad you all are safe. The work you guys are doing is amazing.
The children look so happy with the little they have, we need to learn from them.
May God bless you and keep you safe.
Great name for the Church.

Mission Team;

The first thing we do upon waking is thank God for all his blessing and that he bestow protection upon you all...So many prayers are going out to the team and so many people whom we have spoken to about this mission are overwhelmed by all that is being done to plant the seed....Thank you Mrs Read for opening the door for Gabby and Ashley and allowing them to share in this amazing crusade. Girls words cannot explain how proud we are of both of you.... May Gods blessings be upon all of you and we pray for your safe return. Again we are so proud of you both Gab and Ash....Of ALL of you Mission HCA Team and the impact that your making...Thank you Doug for setting the tone to what has been an amazing experience for the girls....Father God we ask that you guide and protect the team, allow them to speak words through you and be a blessing to all those they come in contact with....We ask this in your name....Amen
We love you all and again look forward to seeing you soon :)
Love Dave and Claudia Zulejkic
